Studebakers Pizza in Gatesville

This is our "go to" place when we travel thru Gatesville. We call ahead and it's ready when we get there! A medium is perfect for two or a large for leftovers.Awesome pizza and great service.

Pizza was good and so was dessert. Liked that they made a half and half pizza for us. The vegetarian pizza had balsamic vinegar base so it was a bit moist.

Was in there a short time ago. I usually have great service. I was waiting for ice cream with 2 workers sitting and chatting wirh each other not attempting to try to even ask if I needed something. I will never go back. It was not busy.

Best pizza in Belton! We have eaten the buffet twice and ordered pizza to go twice. The variety of pizza on the bar is more than expected. If you come in and the bar is low on pizza just give it a few and they will have more. I counted 11 different kinds of pizza and 2 dessert pizza. The salad bar is fresh and delicious. The banana pudding is perfect. Highly recommend!!!

I love this place so much the food is good and I love their ice cream! The workers are always very polite. They are always punctual with our orders.

Fast delivery, friendly service, quality pies. Those "other franchises" could take a few notes from this business. Have ordered from here several times and have yet to be disappointed. Pizzas come hot and flavorful, ingredients are fresh and plentiful. Also, regardless whether it's a typical addition to your order or not, consider adding cheese sticks - a cut above any others I've had.

The pizza is always great. I usually never have any issues with them but today I received the worst customer service from a younger woman whom was the manager working tonight. Very disappointing.

Fantastic home town pizza!!

They not only botched 1 order , then the 2nd and also the third. When calling back girl hung up on me and would not answer the phone. Most disorganized no one knows what there doing . Guess my business of at least 1 time a week 45+ each week. Means nothing. I’m not sure what’s going on with the employees and management , but I see a sinking ship . Avoid if u can....1st order - we didn’t recieve drinks 2nd order - Friday night instead of 2 liter root beer they gave us a fountain drink , pizza burned so bad can eat and had wrong toppings. Called in no problem will replace but will have to be another day as they were closing 3rd order - ordered the replacement pizza as promised added on another pizza and the meal with pasta , bread stick and salad. NO SALAD smh Done they can keep there salad . Won’t call again .

Salad and margarita pizze was great and there was a special deal on Mondays.

If you feel like eating pizza but your family or partner can’t decide which one. Then I recommend the buffet. This place offers military discount and the buffet and soft drinks were under $10.00. They have about 7 different pizzas for you to choose in the buffet from cheese, pepperoni, meat lovers and vegetable toppings. For desert they have a blue bell ice cream with a variety of flavors.

Can’t get enough of Studebakers when we are back home in Texas. Easily end up in town for one reason or another just to get the lunch buffet 2-3 times before leaving back on a route. Always friendly service. Wish we had known about the buffet stamp card a year ago! Another local told us about that. 😉

Studebaker’s used to the the beat Pizzas place in town. But here lately when I would order delivery. It would be so bad. I would get a super greasy pizza because the completely overloaded it with pepperoni which I didn’t order extra of. Or the delivery person would some how slide all the topping to one side of the pizza or they would either forget the dressing or completely get it wrong for the salads. I am not sure what happened but the service has seriously went down hill.

My family’s favorite pizza place! We’ve been going here for years and we still go every week! As soon as we walk in they know wha we’re going to order. Pizza is delicious and they also have a full salad bar, soda, and subs. I believe they also have low carb options as well. They also have a great variety of ice cream. Great place. Love it!

Great pizza, great price, friendly staff, absolutely loved it. I'd say 5 stars if you're picking it up, 4.5 if you're sitting inside because it gets pretty hot in there unless you go eat in the ice cream parlor.

We came here with the intend of getting a dessert pizza, but all of us ordered different dinner pizzas to get as many options as possible. All were very delicious! We also ended up trying the ice cream, which was a great selection! On top of it, we still got our dessert pizza, which was everything we expected and more! We all left very satisfied, and so stuffed that we didn't want to eat the next day!

Ordered 2 large 2 topping speacial for delivery. I showed up 1 hour & 20min. Later h they did not put extra cheese like I was charged for. They did give 10% off for the delayed delivery.

Place was amazing great food and staff make you feel welcome

The online menu stated a price of $6.99 for the specialty pizzas, but when I ordered over the phone the order total was over $30 for two medium pizzas. Fifteen dollars for a medium pizza is ridiculous.

This place was surprisingly good, wasn't sure what to expect before coming here, but it exceeded my expectations. They had a pizza buffet with pasta and salad bar. They even took requests on what we would like them to make next. The staff was very friendly as were the other patrons. Parking lot was smaller, and right off the road, not a major deal but pay attention.

Ate lunch here today and the pizza is on point. I ordered a stinger and it was Soooo good and the staff was very nice and helpfulBelow is a piece of stinger. I highly recommend!!

Dont get excited about the ice cream, it's a completely separate charge. It is a buffet and they have a decent selection and semi fair prices on the pizza. They have games for the kids and the kids at heart. You are your own service

Our managers and our owner care a lot about us and genuinely listen to our issues if they arise. They teach us new things with patience and even when the crowds come in, we work as a team! I love this job!

Pizza was gluten free. Have celiac disease. No issues. I wouldd recommend it.

We had the Chicken Bacon Ranch Pizza. It was amazing! The ranch based sauce was perfect, not overly ranch flavored. Their cheesy bread was as big as a pizza and tasted wonderful. These guys were awesome enough to deliver a banana split to our hotel room! Definitely a must if anyone wants pizza! Only down was that they don't have a website, had to find their menu on facebook.

If you're driving through Gatesville, please stop by Studrbaker's Pizza. You won't regret it. They cook their pizzas in special pans so the crust isn't soggy. The toppings are very fresh too. The staff is very friendly and courteous. 👍👍
